Our Counselors

Patrick Plant BA, Diploma Counseling and Psychotherapy , is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Counseling and Psychotherapy.

He is a Fully Accredited member of IACP and a member of the William Glasser Institute. His therapeutic orientation is integrative with a leaning towards Person Centered and Psychodynamic.

Patrick also has experience of Holotropic Breathwork and Family Systems. His training includes the Understanding of Trauma on the Human Condition and is “ASIST” certified in suicide intervention.

Additionally he holds a EMDR Mindfulness Certificate, practices Havening Techniques, is a Shamanic Practitioner/Counsellor, versed in Jungian Studies, and the use of Dreams in Practice, holds a certificate in Family Therapy and the Effect of Trauma on the Human Condition.

He has a particular interest in continuing professional development, and his interests include meditation, yoga, exercise and the outdoors.

Other therapeutic activities offered by Patrick Plant Therapy include mindfulness and yoga retreats, motivational talks and outdoor challenges in such sacred and beautiful locations as Glendalough and Croagh Patrick.

Amy Plant BA Dip Counseling and Psychotherapy is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Counseling and Psychotherapy.

She is a Student Member of IACP. Amy takes an integrative approach including person centred and reality therapy and is “ASIST” certified in suicide intervention.Continuing professional development is one of her main interests which also include roller-derby, reading, film, music and photography.
